Hi, I’m

Terrie Power

I Believe Being Different May Be Your Greatest Strength

For years, I thought I needed to work harder and become more like the people who seemed to have it all figured out.
What changed was learning how I am wired and finding a way of working that fits me.
Now I help people understand who they are, trust their own voice, and make progress on what matters without forcing themselves into someone else’s way of doing it.

Why This Work Matters to Me

I know what it feels like to be capable and still feel scattered. I knew I cared deeply about my work and the people around me, but I could not always understand why I avoided certain things or struggled to follow the systems that seemed to work for everyone else.

For a long time, I thought I needed to work harder.

I looked at people who seemed naturally productive and wondered what they knew that I did not. I could focus deeply on one thing, then look up and realize that everything else had fallen to the side. When I struggled to take action, I was hard on myself.

Learning about the Enneagram helped me understand what was happening. I began recognizing why I avoided uncomfortable action and why I needed strategies that fit how I am wired.

I realized that when a system does not work, the person is not always the problem. Sometimes the system is simply wrong for that person, that season, or the life they are actually living.

At 47, while working full time, I began building Terrie Power Coaching. I had to take action before I felt ready, try new things, attend networking events, and create ways of planning that worked for me.

That experience shaped the work I do today.

I do not want people to reach the end of the year disappointed that they did not act on what mattered to them. I want them to understand themselves, recognize their strengths, find the support they need, and finish the year proud of what they began, changed, or completed.

I work with business owners, solopreneurs, leaders, dreamers, and people at a crossroads who know something needs to change but have not found the right way forward.

Your Way May Be Personal,
but You Do Not Have to Find It Alone

You can start where you are.
You can ask for help. You can try something, learn from it, and change the plan. You do not have to force yourself into a borrowed system or pretend that something is working when it is not.
My role is to help you understand yourself, find what fits, and keep moving toward what matters with support along the way.

People Do Not All Learn, Plan, or Move Forward the Same Way

My years as a speech-language pathologist taught me to start with the person.

I saw that people process information, communicate, learn, and respond differently.

The same strategy would not work for everyone.

That understanding now shapes the way I coach.

Before choosing a tool or creating a plan, I want to understand who you are, what you need, what gives you energy, and what will help you move forward.

You do not need another system that asks you to become someone else. You need the freedom to discover what works for you.

Who I Work With

I work with builders who:

  • Carry meaningful responsibility
  • Think deeply about their goals
  • Feel the weight of unfinished work
  • Are ready for disciplined, steady progress

Some are entrepreneurs.
Some are professionals.
Some are navigating momentum shifts.

What connects them isn’t age.

It’s readiness to move forward.

What Clients Achieve

Through our partnership, clients have:

  • Launched businesses while maintaining demanding careers
  • Completed long-stalled books and major projects
  • Executed decisive career moves
  • Built sustainable execution rhythms
  • Shifted from circling ideas to finishing them

Once momentum is built correctly, it compounds.

This work builds capacity, not quick wins.

Work With Teams

In addition to private coaching, I lead workshops and team trainings focused on communication, alignment, and execution.

Using tools such as the Enneagram, Full Focus, and Working Genius, I help teams clarify how they operate and strengthen follow-through together.

The focus remains the same:

Forward motion that lasts.

If you’re ready to stop circling and start completing what matters, you don’t need more intensity.

You need structure that fits.

And steady momentum.

Life With Jason and Our Family

Jason and I have been married for more than 30 years. He is thoughtful, analytical, and steady, which balances my reflective and creative side.

Jason also works alongside me in Terrie Power Coaching. He helps lead workshops and team training while serving as the technical brain behind the scenes.

Together, we raised two sons who have grown into thoughtful young men. Our home has also included a rotating cast of dogs and cats who bring their own mixture of chaos and joy.

Our family has spent many years serving in our church through music, prayer, and small-group leadership. Those experiences shaped my love for creating places where people feel known, supported, and able to grow.

As an Enneagram Nine, I naturally see multiple perspectives. I enjoy helping people find common ground while making room for their differences.

Curiosity, Road Trips, and New Adventures

Years ago, Jason and I decided to take a two-week, 3,200-mile road trip with our boys. That trip began a family tradition of exploring new places together.

Since then, our road trips have taken us to waterfalls, mountains, cities, and national parks across the country. Some moments were carefully planned.

Others became meaningful because we left room for an unexpected stop or a change in the route.

Our road trips have taught me the same thing I bring to my work:

Choose what matters, plan the route, expect a few detours, and leave room to discover something you did not know was there.

When I am not working, you may find me watching movies, playing board games with my family, or looking for somewhere interesting to explore.
